31.08.2006 – Exactly 5 years ago we released my very first album Chamäleon with Mala Hierba. Maaaaan! If anyone had told me then …..
Now, one marriage, two children and relocating three times later, it’s time for something new! We’ve laid the finnishing touches on the new album “Pitrock”, which in typical Mala Hierba and bsolid tradition, is of course free music for everybody. I hope all the people who were patiently waiting for this for all this time aren’t angry with me. I had a lot of things going on and was living on quite a different “beat”. And instead of posting news, telling you guys that nothing’s going on with me, I’d rather tell you now: Baaam, look what I got for you now !

Back in July when I was at lake constance for about 6 weeks I thought: Let’s just go to our studio and at least arrange a 5 to 6 track Pitrock EP.
Pustekuchen!!! (it just didn’t happen as planned!) 4 weeks later still nothing had happened… Forget it .. Ok, one last try. Two weeks before going back home, we (DJ Da Rock, doc_tomoe and myself) locked the studio doors from the inside for one night only ! Bam, close the door of the booth and then: rec, rec, rec … Two hours later, open the doors of the booth, 3 songs were done. So we were back to the original plan and when all was said and done we somehow had 14 tracks done, originally created between 2007 and 2011!
Ok, so we needed a Cover, so I called Jan who was all like “WTF!?” and “Heck yeah!”. Now all that was left was for doc_tomoe to sit down for a week or two to work his magic on all this whack shit and make it sound brilliant.
Now we were able to release this!
Well, before you’re all like “1komma0er and other tracks were released before, WTF?!”… Well, you’re right of course, but those tracks had to be in Pitrock. They were always supposed to be in this album, we just didn’t think it would ever be released…
But now, we finnished the whole thing and even the three older songs are remastered and are now where they belong, so keep moving! A big thank you goes out to the guys already mentioned above and of course also to the talented and awesome guys who carefully crafted the instrumentals (Radsch, Naturtalent, DJ Havo aka J Rubber)! You guys are the reason this thing even exists !

So enough with all the talk!
We’ll see each other again in 2016 or maybe in some folk music show on tv

Am 31. Oktober 2009 (Halloween) ist es soweit: Pitvalid tritt im Berliner Club Cassiopeia (Friedrichshain) auf ! Gemeinsam mit Pitvalid sind wie immer DJ Da Rock und doc_tomoe auf der Bühne und bringen das Pitvalid-Live Programm in komprimierter und noch explosiverer Form auf die Bühne !
Für alle Fans und Supporter von Pitvalid, die im Raum Berlin wohnen, ist das DIE Chance endlich Pitvalid live zu sehen !
Besonders freut sich das Pitvalid Team auch über alle Berliner, die ursprünglich mal vom See kamen !

DIESE Woche, am Freitag, 18. und Samstag, 19. September ist es so weit ! Im Überlinger Strandbad-Ost findet am ersten Wochenende nach den Sommerferien das erste GREEN BEACH Festival mit Pitvalid als einer der Hauptattraktionen statt !

Neben F.R. , Pitvalid, und JanusJanus treten an zwei Tagen auch viele weitere Bands der verschiedensten Genre auf. Es gibt jede Menge Acts aus den musikalischen Genre Hiphop, Ska, Deutschrock und Metal.
Pitvalid tritt übrigens am Samstag, den 19.September 2009 auf !

Der Vorverkauf ist bereits gestartet ! Tickets gibt es bei folgenden Vorverkaufsstellen vor Ort:

Die neue Seite ist wesentlich übersichtlicher und einfacher strukturiert, verfügt über einen eigenen, in die Website integrierten Shop und wird durch die Blogs der einzelnen Artists mit News gefüttert.

Yo, sitz gerade mit meiner ganzen squadra im Bus nach KÜN.  Das Wetter ist beschissen aber die Stimmung grandios. Ein dickes Dankeschön geht raus an Simon*, der uns für unsere Free-Music Downloads eine Spendenpaket per Post geschickt hat: Ein ganzer Karton voll Süßigkeiten!!! Woahnsinn! Kam perfekt  an zur Abfahrt.

So, Dj Da Rock drückt jetzt mal weiter auf die Tube und wir sehen uns hoffentlich in Künzelsau. Wird auf jeden Fall ne fette Party…
